Pickleball

  • Exception 1: From 11:00 -12:00 daily, courts are available to beginner and novice players.
  • Exception 2: Court 2 is available for reservations from 12:00 – 5:00 pm in one hour increments.  
  • Reservations can be made 2 days in advance through the tennis pro shop beginning at 12:00.
  • Court reservations will be posted daily at the pickleball courts.
  • Please follow all pickleball etiquette and rules posted on the entrance gates to the courts.
  • Please use only paddles from the Heritage Palms approved pickleball paddle list.
  • In order to assure the use of quieter paddles, HP is implementing a paddle registration program. We ask that you please have your paddle(s) verified by the tennis staff and receive a sticker that designates that your paddle is approved. You can have this done at the Tennis pro shop during regular shop hours. We will also be designating several mornings where staff will be at the pickleball courts to register your paddles.
  • Restrooms are available at the pool area next to the courts. Residents will need to have their pool access keys to get in.
  • Parking is available in designated spots at the courts and on the Queen Palm Lane parking lot. Parking is not allowed on the grass or on the streets.

Dress Code
Proper attire for men and women is required.  Casual, comfortable clothing is acceptable, including tee shirts (but not undershirts), gym shorts and/or appropriate warm-up suits, and tennis shoes. Shirts and court shoes are mandatory. 
 
Use of the Pickleball Facilities
 
The pickleball courts are for the sole use of Club members, transfer members and their guests.  Players and spectators must conduct themselves according to the Rules and Regulations of the Club at all times.  Normal etiquette and good sportsmanship are expected of all players and spectators.  Children under age 13 are only allowed on the pickleball courts with parental supervision.  Profanity of any type will not be tolerated.
 

Smoking is not permitted on the courts.  Bikes must be parked in the bike racks. No riding of bikes on the pickleball courts is permitted. Motorcycles and motor scooters must be parked in the parking lot.  No skates, roller blades, skateboards or the like are permitted in the pickleball area.   Pets are not permitted on the Pickleball Facilities
